Fort Collins, CO: Define the Line, a sexual harassment training in the form of a comic book, today announced that they plan to donate 100 copies to the Sexual Assault Victim Advocate (SAVA) Center. As part of their Kickstarter campaign, launching April 12th, Define the Line has created a stretch goal for their campaign.
“If we raise $15,000, which is $5,000 over our campaign goal, we’re dedicated to providing SAVA with 100 copies of Define the Line” said co-creator Nikki Larchar. She continued to say, “We wanted a way to give back to our community and creating a partnership with an organization that offers support to those affected by workplace harassment and sexual assault aligned with the overall goals of Define the Line”.
“We all know that training is a huge part of improving the culture around sexual harassment, but we also realize that it won’t prevent all cases. That’s why we feel it’s important to have partners for victims to have additional resources”
said co-creator Tina Todd.
Define the Line is actively collecting real stories of workplace harassment with an anonymous online submission form.
“The SAVA Center is thrilled to be partnering with Define the Line in order to ensure that people who experience sexual harassment/violence in the workplace have a comprehensive network of support and resources. Education and empowerment are the keys to reducing sexual violence in our community”
said Katie Abeyta, Director of Victim of Advocacy and Outreach at the SAVA Center.
